The Southern Dance Festival is a non-profit organisation that started from humble beginnings in a venue in Bentleigh.

The Festival outgrew this and other small locations. We have been at this excellent venue since 1994.

The current committee are a dedicated group of people who work hard and freely give up their time to put together a dance festival of quality that we hope will be a rewarding and enjoyable experience for all concerned.

The Committee works to keep costs down and is very proud that all proceeds of this festival go to charity.

In 2007 we welcomed YMCA Victoria as our new charity. The committee has been thrilled to be able to donate $37,000 to this very worthy cause over the past four years and looks forward to a long and happy association.
